QuickLaunch customers had all of their data and none of the story. Every identity and integration event the platform handles for a college or university was there, on a wall of log panels: half of them reading "No data," the rest raw tables with machine column headers. It showed everything and told nothing.
Giving the data visibility
We started by asking what an administrator actually needs to know when they open the page. How many of their people have claimed their accounts. Whether their integrations are healthy, and where they are not. What needs attention right now. Then we redesigned the wall around those answers: one institution at a time, in plain language, with every panel saying honestly whether its numbers are live or still being filled in.
The original designs are still up: the vision across every customer and the view of a single institution.
Then we gave it an agent
Visibility makes the data readable. An agent makes it a conversation. We applied the same principle every DBNR agent is built on: a worldview (who it serves and what it believes its job is), a personality (how it talks to the person in front of it), a purpose, and the tools to reach the data. The Insight Agent is one agent that takes on the worldview of whichever institution is on the screen, so an administrator can ask about their own campus in their own words and get an answer about their own people.
Live
QuickLaunch's engineering team built the design into the product, and it went live in the QuickLaunch platform on September 26, 2026. Before launch we walked the live product page by page and carried what we found back to the team, so customers met it working. Every QuickLaunch customer can now experience their data instead of just looking at it.
Why it's on the record
This is what we mean by AI agents for business: not a chatbot bolted onto a dashboard, but an instance of an agent with a point of view, built for the people who use it, that changes what they can do with what they already have.
