My roots are in IT leadership—I served as Director of Technology for the University of Advancing Technology, building one of the most advanced technology campuses in the US, including cybersecurity and forensic science labs and curriculum. As an active participant in DefCon and BlackHat conferences, founding member of DC480, co-author of Techno Security's Guide to Managing Risks, and leader of a wardriving research project in Arizona. From there, I moved into product leadership, scaling a SIS platform from $30M to $90M ARR while leading the #1 student system replacement software in the US for nine consecutive years. I've been building AI products since before ChatGPT made it mainstream—from conversational agents in the 2000s to behavioral analytics platforms in 2018, my vision has consistently run ahead of available technology.
